MODERN VICTORIAN

Our clients invited us into their home after realising that the project they had tried to do on their own was just too much for a busy family. We were lucky enough to be able to start the living room from scratch. Designing a new fireplace and sizing the space to work beautifully as a second living area between the bedrooms and the kitchen. We created a huge Japanese inspired glass sliding door to separate the room from the rest of the house adding a level of texture and detail to really make this room the star of the home. Sheer curtains were added to filter light and soften the view, and a silk rug in gorgeous colours grounds the space.
 
At the same time we 'prettied up' the powder room - leaving the existing joinery but adding wallpaper and mirror on a mirror to luxe it up.  A single pendant hangs from the ceiling, and with these three small changes, the area was changed entirely.
