A beachside Victorian brought back to life. This single-fronted home in Port Melbourne had great bones but needed vision, light, and flow. Our clients—a savvy couple with a love for French flair, Hamptons styling, and relaxed entertaining—came to us with a dream of creating a calm, open home to share with visiting family and grandkids.

We reimagined the layout entirely. The old kitchen and bathroom were relocated, walls came down, and new skylights and highlight windows opened the house to the treetops. Soft oak floors and re-clad exteriors brought warmth and freshness, while clever space-saving elements like a compact euro laundry and custom bifold kitchen joinery added functionality.

A soft palette of green, gold and grey complements statement marble, repurposed finds, and a renewed fireplace to create a home full of personality and practical beauty. The result is an elegant, light-filled space that’s just as perfect for quiet moments as it is for weekend visitors.
